The Behavioral Science/Family Systems Educator Fellowship is a competitive, yearlong professional development program designed for family medicine faculty who coordinate or teach the behavioral science and family systems curriculum. The fellowship offers a structured learning experience with core content, formalized mentoring by experienced educators, and a collaborative peer group. Participants develop a personalized professional development plan, deepen their understanding of medical culture, and integrate behavioral science and family systems principles into their teaching and practice. A key component of the fellowship is the completion of a mentored scholarly project, which is presented at a national conference. Fellows also benefit from networking opportunities, professional recognition, and access to a national community of family medicine educators.
