This award honors early-career investigators whose recent, innovative discovery—a novel drug, technique, or disease mechanism—has profoundly advanced the understanding and/or treatment of retinal diseases or conditions. Established in memory of Dr. Bert M. Glaser, a renowned retinal surgeon and researcher, the award aims to foster continued innovation and progress in retinal research. Supported by the Glaser family through the ARVO Foundation, the award is intended to further the recipient’s research in retinal science.
