The Blood and Marrow Transplant Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is a one-year advanced clinical training program for physicians who have completed an accredited Hematology fellowship. The program provides comprehensive exposure to both inpatient and outpatient management of a wide spectrum of hematologic malignancies, including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemias, amyloidosis, and myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disorders. Fellows gain multidisciplinary experience in blood and marrow transplantation, including autologous and allogeneic procedures, nonmyeloablative and haploidentical transplantations, and advanced laboratory techniques such as histocompatibility testing, cryopreservation, stem cell harvesting and manipulation, and dendritic cell therapy. The fellowship is supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including a GMP-approved cell processing center and an NIH-sponsored Clinical Research Unit, and is accredited by several national organizations.
