The Bone Marrow Failure Research Program (BMFRP), managed by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) within the Defense Health Agency, supports high-impact research advancing the understanding, treatment, and resource development for bone marrow failure (BMF) diseases. The program aims to foster scientific progress through hypothesis-driven research, translational studies, and durable resource development for the BMF research community. Projects must address at least one of the program’s focus areas: developing resources for the BMF community, identifying effective treatments and cures, or elucidating the causes and progression of BMF diseases.
