Description
The BottleDrop Fund, established by the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative (OBRC) in partnership with the Oregon Community Foundation, provides annual grant support to Oregon-based nonprofits. Its mission is to further the goals of Oregon’s Bottle Bill by funding creative, community-driven solutions that address litter and waste reduction, environmental conservation, recycling, environmental education, public-private partnership innovations, and skill-building or job training for low-income residents. The fund is sustained through remitted unredeemed deposits and the Containers for Change program, and is focused on keeping Oregon beautiful, enhancing recycling, protecting the environment, and supporting vulnerable populations.
