This fellowship is designed to build capacity in type 1 diabetes-related clinical psychology and psychology research by supporting early-career investigators (within 5 years of doctoral degree) to conduct mentored postdoctoral research and/or clinical work. Fellows will work closely with a mentor at an accredited institution, focusing on psychosocial aspects of type 1 diabetes. The program emphasizes research skill development, manuscript preparation, and active participation in professional meetings, with the goal of fostering the next generation of leaders in diabetes psychology research.
