Description
The Arts and Science Council (ASC), in partnership with Mecklenburg County, invites professional artists or artist teams to submit qualifications for a major public art commission at Lover’s Leap in Bryant Park, Charlotte, North Carolina. This opportunity seeks to create a distinctive, interactive public art experience that celebrates the park’s rich history, community identity, and spirit of place. The selected artist(s) will collaborate with local agencies and community members to design an artwork that integrates with the site’s historic stone walls, amphitheater seating, and landscape, fostering engagement and reflection for visitors of all ages. The resulting piece will serve as a cultural landmark and enhance Bryant Park’s role as a vital civic destination.
