Description
The Gilead Sciences Building Community Donations program, through the Biotech Pathways Initiative, aims to strengthen the biotechnology and life sciences talent pipeline in the San Francisco Bay Area. The initiative funds nonprofit-led programs that expand access to high-quality STEM education, develop applied technical skills, and provide real-world learning experiences for middle and high school students—especially those from communities historically underrepresented in STEM and biotech fields. The program supports projects aligned with Science and Innovation, Access and Health Equity, and People and Culture, with a particular focus on dismantling systemic inequalities and fostering the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals.
