Description
This program provides unrestricted financial support to California-based artists and arts workers who are making significant strides toward equity and inclusion within the arts and culture sector. The grant recognizes and empowers individuals or teams who challenge entrenched systems, shift power to historically marginalized communities, and drive sector-wide impact for underrepresented voices. Funding is intended to sustain changemakers who take personal and financial risks to disrupt the status quo—through public art, advocacy, policy engagement, or community organizing—by removing financial barriers to their vital work.
