Description
This funding opportunity is part of the LILAS4SOILS project, which aims to promote carbon farming practices through Living Labs in the Mediterranean and Southern EU regions. The grant specifically supports the testing and validation of innovative Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) technologies that improve sampling, analysis, and data collection for soil carbon and related indicators. These technologies will be trialed in real-life farm settings across six countries, with the goal of standardizing and simplifying MRV activities, comparing novel solutions to conventional methods, and accelerating the transition to regenerative agriculture. Selected MRV providers will collaborate with farmers, researchers, and other stakeholders to co-create and implement testing protocols, with access to a network of 100 project farms.
