Description
This funding opportunity supports pilot projects aimed at interconnecting and federating existing Local Digital Twins (LDTs) across European cities, communities, and regions. The initiative, under Work Strand 1 (WS1) of the Local Digital Twins for Smart Sustainable Cities (LDT4SSC) program, seeks to create a unified, interoperable EU-wide network of LDTs. The goal is to facilitate seamless data exchange, foster cross-border collaboration, and accelerate the digital and green transformation of Europe. Pilots should demonstrate real-world use cases—such as cross-border traffic management or multi-city resource optimization—that enhance decision-making, improve resource use, and contribute to a collaborative, resilient digital infrastructure.
