This grant supports civil society organizations (CSOs) in the Kyrgyz Republic to design and implement community-based Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) initiatives within the "Zero VAWG" (Violence Against Women and Girls) Initiative. The aim is to expand women’s access to economic resources, financial inclusion, market opportunities, and support services, while also promoting gender equality and positive social norms. Selected partners will organize high-level forums, generate evidence on barriers to women’s economic participation, engage private sector actors, and establish partnerships to foster inclusive economic empowerment and help prevent violence against women and girls.
