Description
This scholarship is designed to develop future leaders in cardiothoracic surgical ethics by providing financial support for early and mid-career cardiothoracic (CT) surgeons and trainees to pursue formal education in biomedical ethics. Recognizing the limited availability of structured ethics training within the surgical field, the program enables recipients to attend top-tier ethics courses or programs at leading North American institutions. Awardees are expected to actively participate in ethics-related activities within the CT surgery community and contribute to the advancement of ethics education in the specialty.
