The Career Development Award (CDA) is designed to support early-career clinical investigators who have received their initial faculty appointment and are working to establish an independent clinical cancer research program. This mentored award requires research to be conducted under the guidance of a scientific mentor, with an emphasis on patient-oriented clinical or translational research involving human subjects. Proposals focused primarily on in vitro or animal studies are not eligible. Applications are accepted from both U.S. and international applicants in all areas of cancer research.
