This forecasted Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) will support a limited competition for the continuation of the Caring for OutPatiEnts after Acute Kidney Injury (COPE-AKI) clinical trial consortium. Funding is intended for a 3-year extension, allowing clinical centers to meet enrollment targets, finish participant follow-up, and provide resources for data analysis and dissemination of findings. The COPE-AKI study aims to inform and improve clinical management and develop a standard of care for survivors of Stage 2 and 3 acute kidney injury (AKI), a patient population for whom no standard of care currently exists.
