Description
The Center for Advanced Study (CAS) Fellows program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign supports untenured assistant professors by providing a semester of release from classroom teaching to pursue individual scholarly or creative projects. Fellows become part of the Center’s intellectual community, participating in roundtable discussions, CAS events, and presenting their work. The program aims to foster significant research or creative progress while maintaining engagement in graduate mentoring and service.
