The Catalyst Awards, part of UCSF’s translational accelerator, provide seed funding and industry mentorship to UCSF investigators developing diagnostics, devices, therapeutics, and digital/computational health solutions. The program focuses on projects with significant clinical impact and commercial potential, supporting the advancement and validation of technologies along the translational path toward patient benefit and commercialization. The awards emphasize translational, not discovery, research, and offer both funding and structured mentorship to help projects reach key milestones.
