Description
This program provides funding for large-scale upgrades, expansions, or new construction of public facilities that serve entire communities in Kansas. The goal is to enhance infrastructure and amenities, delivering substantial public benefits and supporting quality of life. Eligible projects include renovations or construction of libraries, community centers, parks, nonprofit childcare centers, public safety facilities, and other essential public infrastructure. All funded projects must demonstrate a substantial benefit to low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents and comply with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and federal requirements.
