Description
This program funds large-scale improvements, expansions, or new construction of public facilities that serve entire communities in Kansas. The goal is to enhance community infrastructure and amenities, delivering substantial public benefit and supporting quality of life. Projects can include renovations or new construction of libraries, community centers, parks, childcare centers, public safety facilities, and other eligible public infrastructure. All projects must align with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) regulations and demonstrate benefit to low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons as required by federal law.
