The Center for Dementia Respite Innovation (CDRI), funded by the Alzheimer’s Association, aims to improve and expand dementia-capable respite care across the United States. The CDRI supports local respite care providers through competitive grants focused on innovation, measurable outcomes, accessibility, affordability, and sustainability for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Grant recipients also receive ongoing technical assistance, online training, and are expected to contribute to data collection efforts to inform public policy and advance the field of dementia respite care.
