Description
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s NIH K-Boost Award provides supplemental support to promising scientists early in their faculty careers who have obtained NIH K funding. The program aims to attract and develop junior faculty who will establish research careers in cystic fibrosis. It supports research costs or additional salary for key personnel working on the associated NIH K project.
Proposed basic or clinical research must advance the Foundation’s mission and address the health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis. Awardees focus their research on topics directly related to the Foundation’s research priorities during the award term. Applicants are encouraged, but not required, to address a listed priority.
