Description
This funding opportunity from UN Women Lebanon supports the establishment and operationalization of the country’s first Women in Leadership Academy. The Academy is envisioned as a sustainable, nationally owned platform dedicated to developing leadership, mentorship, networking, and professional advancement opportunities for women leaders. Its primary focus is to strengthen women's leadership and participation in decision-making across political, public, economic, civic, and peacebuilding sectors in Lebanon, thereby contributing to a more inclusive and representative public sphere.
The initiative seeks to build a pipeline of diverse women leaders, address structural barriers to women’s leadership, and foster long-term leadership pathways through comprehensive programming that includes cohort-based leadership development, mentorship, and professional networking.
