--- ## Description This annual recognition, sponsored by the ACS Committee on Environment and Sustainability, celebrates a local section that has developed and implemented a new, exceptional program advancing sustainability at the local level. The award is aligned with the ACS Strategic Plan and prioritizes programs that educate the public—such as students, educators, businesses, or community members—about how chemistry contributes to sustainable products, improved quality of life, and environmental stewardship.
