    Description

This opportunity supports projects that prevent child abuse and neglect in tribal and migrant communities. The grant funds initiatives to develop, operate, expand, enhance, and coordinate programs that strengthen families, build resilience, and reduce the risk of abuse and neglect. Projects must align with Title II of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA), which reserves a portion of funding specifically for tribes, tribal organizations, and migrant programs. Activities should focus on increasing access to family support and prevention services, improving child safety and well-being, and implementing evidence-informed practices tailored to the needs of tribal and/or migrant families.
