Description
This grant supports the implementation and capacity-building of the 4-H Military Partnership and Outreach Support Program, administered by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). It provides funding for professional development and technical assistance to Land-grant Institutions and Cooperative Extension Systems (CES), enabling them to collaborate with other organizations to design and deliver educational programs for military-connected youth. The goal is to equip these youth with the skills needed to lead positive, productive, and contributing lives. Funded projects must address professional development, communication, and evaluation activities over a three-year plan of work, with an initial 12-month award and potential for continuation.
