Description
This opportunity from the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) funds projects that address significant human rights abuses in China with global implications, such as genocide, repression of freedoms, censorship, forced labor, and transnational repression. The program seeks to support innovative projects that counter censorship, protect human rights defenders, enhance access to uncensored information, document and counter extraterritorial legal actions, and support accountability for sanctions evasion. Four distinct program areas are solicited, each with specific objectives related to freedom of expression, countering extraterritorial lawfare, ending sanctions evasion, and protecting religious freedom and human rights for oppressed groups.
