The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Choosing Wisely® Champions award recognizes clinicians who have demonstrated leadership in advancing the Choosing Wisely® campaign within geriatrics. The award honors individuals who have promoted evidence-based, person-centered care for older adults—especially those who educate peers, reduce unnecessary tests/treatments, and exemplify high-quality decision-making in their practice. Recipients are celebrated at the AGS Annual Scientific Meeting and featured in AGS and Choosing Wisely® communications.
