The CHS Dream of a Cure Research Grants, funded by the Canadian Hemophilia Society and the Hemophilia Research Million Dollar Club, support basic scientific research aimed at improving the health and quality of life of individuals with inherited bleeding disorders, and advancing toward a cure. The program focuses on research relevant to hemophilia A and B, von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies, platelet function disorders, and other congenital or acquired bleeding disorders. Successful proposals are expected to contribute to understanding, treatment, and eventual eradication of these conditions. Awardees must provide lay summaries and final reports suitable for broad dissemination.
