The Chung Mong-Koo International Affairs Fellowship in the Republic of Korea is a new initiative from the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), supported by Hyundai Motor Company. The fellowship aims to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between emerging leaders in the United States and the Republic of Korea by enabling mid-career U.S. professionals to spend three to twelve months in Korea. Fellows conduct research, develop professional networks, and contribute to public dialogue on issues shaping the U.S.-ROK relationship. The program is designed to be transformational, supporting career advancement through full-time, in-person engagement with a Korean host organization. Prior experience in or with Korea is not required.
