Description
The CityArtist Grant provides direct funding to individual artists and curators residing or working in Seattle for the research, development, and public presentation of creative work. The program fosters the growth of creative careers and encourages a wide range of artistic and cultural expression that reflects the diversity of Seattle. Disciplines eligible for funding rotate each year; for the 2027 cycle, the focus is on Dance, Music, and Theater (including Playwriting). All funded projects must culminate in a public presentation within Seattle city limits.
