The Clark/Oakley Humanities Fellowship is a collaborative residency program between the Oakley Center at Williams College and the Research and Academic Program at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. It is designed for national and international scholars in the humanities whose research adopts an interdisciplinary approach to the visual. Fellows are provided with an office at the Oakley Center, housing at the Clark scholars' residence, and are immersed in the intellectual communities of both institutions. The program aims to foster a supportive environment for research, encourage participation in weekly forums at the Oakley Center, and provide opportunities to engage with lectures, workshops, symposia, and international conferences at the Clark.
