Description
The Clean Vessel Act Grant, administered by the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation, provides funding to reduce environmental pollution from recreational boating. The program supports projects that construct, renovate, operate, and maintain pump-out and dump stations (including floating restrooms), as well as educational programs and infrastructure for the safe disposal of boat sewage. Eligible projects may also include the installation of holding tanks, piping, and upgrades to sewage treatment facilities to ensure proper handling of marine waste, all with the goal of protecting water quality and promoting responsible boating practices throughout Utah.
