Description
The Clean Vessel Act Grant provides funding to projects that address the reduction of environmental pollution from recreational boating sewage in Utah. The program supports both educational initiatives to inform boaters about sewage-related water quality issues and the development, renovation, operation, and maintenance of pump-out and dump stations. Eligible activities also include the installation of floating restrooms, transport and holding of sewage, and improvements to sewage acceptance at treatment facilities. The goal is to preserve and improve water quality in Utah’s aquatic ecosystems by promoting proper sewage disposal practices among recreational boaters.
