Description
The Clinical Research Awards, part of The LAM Foundation Grant Program, are designed to fund innovative, hypothesis-driven, and clinically focused research that advances the care and understanding of individuals with lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). Emphasizing patient-centered studies, the program seeks projects that can lead to breakthrough findings, larger clinical trials, or improvements in patient quality of life. Priority areas for 2026 include discovering new treatments (e.g., novel agents, drug repurposing, new therapeutic targets, and studying sex as a biological variable), as well as research aimed at significantly enhancing patient quality of life. Projects should generate tangible results within one year and utilize human subjects, tissue, or data.
