    Description

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Foundation’s Clinical Research Grants are designed to encourage research that directly impacts the delivery of services to individuals with communication disorders. These grants support studies that advance knowledge of treatment efficacy, assessment practices, or the implementation of evidence into clinical practice in audiology and speech-language pathology. Priority is given to bold, innovative proposals with potential to improve daily functioning for those with or at risk for communication and related impairments, and to promote new directions for the discipline. The program is intended for new, independent research efforts that provide preliminary data for future, larger-scale studies, not for extending existing funded projects.
