Description
This opportunity from the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) seeks proposals for establishing a new global program aimed at countering transnational repression. The initiative will strengthen coordination and build capacity among partner governments, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations. Transnational repression refers to actions by authoritarian regimes that reach across borders to silence, intimidate, harass, or harm members of diaspora communities, dissidents, journalists, and human rights defenders abroad. The program is designed to help protect the safety and fundamental rights of individuals worldwide, including Americans and residents of partner countries.
