The Cogut Seminar Fellowships provide members of the Brown University community—including faculty, doctoral students, undergraduates, visiting faculty, and postdoctoral research associates—the opportunity to pursue humanities research and share works-in-progress within a cross-disciplinary seminar setting. Fellows participate in weekly seminars designed to foster academic exchange, collaboration, and community across different ranks and disciplines, enriching both research and teaching in the humanities at Brown.
Fellowships are awarded for participation in the Cogut Institute Fellows Seminar, where participants present and discuss their ongoing research in a collegial environment. The program aims to promote innovative humanities scholarship, encourage cross-disciplinary dialogue, and support professional development for early-career and established scholars alike.
