Description
This grant program is designed to help King County’s nonprofit heritage organizations protect, preserve, and provide public access to historic artifacts, archival records, and cultural materials. Funding may be used for a wide range of collections care activities, including assessment, organization, cataloging, cleaning, repair, documentation, digitization, and training for staff or volunteers. The program is competitive and prioritizes projects that demonstrate public benefit, feasibility, alignment with professional standards, and a commitment to advancing equity, especially for historically marginalized communities within King County.
