The Colorado Practice-based Health Education Grant Program is designed to expand hands-on, practice-based training opportunities for health professions students and trainees in Colorado. The program enables students enrolled in accredited Colorado schools and participants in public or nonprofit Colorado medical schools or ACGME-accredited residency programs to fulfill degree requirements and obtain the practical experience necessary for licensure in a health care field. Administered by the Primary Care Office at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, this initiative was established under Senate Bill 22-226.
