Projects must address at least two relevant autoimmune diseases (MS, lupus, T1D); no clinical trials; international applicants eligible.

--- ## Description The Common Mechanisms in Autoimmunity Insight Awards are jointly funded by Breakthrough T1D, Lupus Research Alliance, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This initiative aims to accelerate research into the immune pathways and therapeutic targets common to multiple autoimmune diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus (or its manifestations), and type 1 diabetes. The program is designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and support pilot studies that provide proof-of-concept data for innovative mechanisms, therapeutic strategies, biomarker identification, drug repurposing, and best practices in data/sample sharing.
