The Community Crime Prevention Initiative (CCPI) provides targeted investments in north Aurora, southeast Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Trinidad to support economic development and community services. The program aims to reduce crime and improve quality of life through a combination of community grants and small business loans. Funding supports projects that improve academic achievement, strengthen families (including trauma recovery and crime survivor support), increase employment, reduce recidivism, foster neighborhood leadership and connections, and enhance the safety and usability of outdoor spaces. CCPI partners with local foundations and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) to deliver resources directly to community organizations and small businesses.
