Description
This opportunity provides disaster recovery funding to support the creation and rehabilitation of affordable housing in Lamoille and Washington Counties, Vermont, addressing unmet needs from the July 2023 floods. The program, administered by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development (ACCD), is funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. Priority is given to projects that create net-new affordable housing, are outside flood hazard areas, can be completed by August 2030, and exceed the minimum low/moderate-income benefit requirements.
