This opportunity provides funding through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program, administered by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development (ACCD), to support the recovery of communities impacted by the July 2023 floods. The focus of this round is on affordable housing projects in Lamoille and Washington Counties, which were identified as the most impacted and distressed areas. Funding is intended to address disaster-related needs, support long-term recovery, restore infrastructure and housing, and promote economic revitalization with a priority for projects benefitting low- and moderate-income (LMI) individuals. Projects must demonstrate at least 70% of benefits accrue to LMI residents and must directly address flood impacts.
