--- ## Description The Washington Sea Grant Community Engaged Internship (CEI) is a paid, 10-week summer program designed for undergraduate students interested in coastal and marine sciences. The internship aims to broaden participation in these fields by providing mentorship, professional development, and hands-on experience in research, extension, education, and communication—integrating local knowledge systems and community priorities. Interns work with the WSG Coastal Resilience Team and the Hazards Analysis and Resilience Planning Team, analyzing data on community impacts from coastal hazards to help identify vulnerable areas and support resilience planning.
