    Description

The Community Grants Program is the flagship, competitive grantmaking initiative of the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF), designed to strengthen community livability and vitality throughout Oregon. This program provides flexible, one-year funding to organizations launching new or expanding programs and projects, building organizational capacity, or undertaking small capital initiatives (total project budget under $500,000). The focus is on supporting efforts that address pressing, community-identified needs—especially those serving populations that have experienced historic underinvestment, including communities of color, immigrants and refugees, people with disabilities, low-income and under-resourced communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others.

OCF prioritizes projects that demonstrate strong community support, thoughtful planning, and wise stewardship, with an emphasis on equity, inclusion, and community representation in decision-making.
