Description

The Community Impact Grant from the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan provides funding for projects that deliver substantial benefits to the communities of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, or Presque Isle County. The grant is designed to support new, dynamic initiatives—especially those that demonstrate collaboration and additional funding support from other organizations. Applications for routine operating expenses or requests for ongoing, sustained funding are generally discouraged. Funding decisions are made by a board committee and must receive final approval from the Board of Trustees. Grants are intended for future projects only and are distributed within a year of approval.
