Description
This funding opportunity supports the development and implementation of comprehensive substance use prevention programs for youth in schools and extracurricular settings. The program emphasizes collaboration with law enforcement and community coalitions to deliver a continuum of prevention strategies, including education, early intervention, mentoring, referral to treatment, and investigative efforts. Projects are expected to build community-based capacity and may include family engagement, training for school personnel and community members, and efforts to ensure student safety en route to and from school and activities.
