The Office of Community Services (OCS) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) anticipates supporting six three-year cooperative agreements to establish Communities of Practice (CoPs) under the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program. These CoPs will deliver specialized training and technical assistance (TTA) to CSBG-funded states, territories, tribes, state associations, and eligible entities. The TTA provided must be evidence-informed, tailored to the unique characteristics of each community, and scalable for broader implementation. The primary goal is to build capacity for interventions that improve economic security, employment stability, and asset development for families with low incomes through coordinated service delivery and systems alignment. CoPs are also expected to advance strategies addressing economic mobility, education and workforce development, transportation, and access to safe and stable housing.
