Description
This funding opportunity, administered by the CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), provides enhancement grants to community-based coalitions working to address local drug crises. The program is part of the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) and is designed to prevent and reduce opioid and methamphetamine use, as well as the misuse of prescription drugs, among youth ages 12–18 across communities in the United States. Only coalitions that are current or former recipients of the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program are eligible to apply.
