--- ## Description This opportunity provides cooperative agreement funding to state egg regulatory programs to help them achieve and maintain full conformance with the FDA's Egg Regulatory Program Standards (ERPS). The ERPS establishes a national framework for effective, risk-based egg safety oversight, aiming to reduce egg-related illnesses by supporting consistent and effective regulatory practices across states. Funding will support activities such as developing and implementing strategic plans for ERPS conformance, enhancing inspection and enforcement capacities, sharing regulatory data with the FDA, and building holistic state egg regulatory programs. The program expects recipients to achieve full ERPS conformance within five years of initial funding, with this award cycle providing up to three years of support.
