The Constantine and George Macricostas Fellowship at the Gennadius Library is designed to support research on Orthodox Christian Studies, with particular emphasis on the history, religious traditions, and the cultural, geopolitical, and institutional impact of the Orthodox Church. The Gennadius Library, part of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA), boasts extensive collections of rare books, manuscripts, archives, and research materials related to Hellenism, Greece, and neighboring civilizations from antiquity to the present. This fellowship provides scholars with the opportunity to conduct research in residence at the Gennadius Library for the full academic year (September to late May), engaging with unique resources to illuminate the intellectual, social, cultural, political, and institutional history of the Orthodox Church.
