Description
The Instrument for financial support for customs control equipment, under the Customs Programme, provides targeted funding to modernize and harmonize customs control equipment at border crossing points (BCPs) and customs laboratories across the EU and eligible non-EU countries. The program aims to strengthen the EU customs union, enhance operational cooperation, and ensure that customs authorities are equipped to address evolving trade flows, security threats, and technological advancements. Funding supports the purchase, upgrade, and maintenance of state-of-the-art, reliable, and environmentally friendly equipment, with a strong emphasis on Union-level added value, innovation, and sustainability.
