    Description

    This opportunity, offered by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), funds the design and implementation of a 1–2 week training program in the United States for nine mid- to senior-level Uzbek private sector professionals involved in the importation, marketing, and sales of distilled spirits. The program aims to educate Uzbek buyers on U.S. distilled spirits (with emphasis on bourbon and whiskey), enhance their understanding of U.S. beverage regulations and industry practices, and build business relationships to increase U.S. spirits exports to Uzbekistan. The host U.S. institution will be responsible for all aspects of the U.S.-based training, including logistics, curriculum, and reporting.
